Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 1, 2026

PractiQuest (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information: If you create an account or sign in, we may receive basic account identifiers (for example, an email address or a provider ID), depending on the sign-in method you use.
  • Practice data: Practice sessions (duration, timestamps), session notes/tags (if you choose to add them), and progress indicators (such as streaks, XP, levels, quests).
  • Subscription status: If you subscribe, Apple processes payments. We may store subscription state (active/expired) to unlock Pro features.
  • Device and app data: Basic diagnostics (crash logs, performance metrics) to keep the app reliable.

How we use information

  • Provide core functionality (timer, session logging, progress, and features you enable).
  • Maintain account access and sync (if you use sign-in and cloud sync).
  • Improve app quality and fix bugs (diagnostics and reliability).
  • Communicate with you if you contact support.

Focus mode / distraction blocking

PractiQuest may offer features that help you reduce distractions during practice. When you enable such features, PractiQuest uses Apple-provided capabilities and respects system permissions. We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may use third-party service providers to operate the app (for example, authentication, database, analytics, or crash reporting). These providers process information on our behalf to deliver app functionality and improve reliability.

Data retention

We retain information as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate business purposes (such as security, fraud prevention, and improving the app). If you delete your account (where available), we will take reasonable steps to remove associated personal data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Your choices

  • You can choose whether to add notes/tags to sessions.
  • You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
  • You can contact us to request help with access or data questions.

Children’s privacy

PractiQuest is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
